What to Expect at Acts 2

What It’s Like to Worship at Acts 2

Acts 2 UMC is a community of believers who have decided together to live their lives fully devoted to God. It is a place where everyone plays a critical role, everyone is important and God is in charge.

What are the service times?

Acts 2 worships online on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m.

What should I expect?

First and foremost, expect to experience God through the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Each worship service lasts approximately 60 minutes. At the beginning, there are two songs, followed by the Children’s Moment, and then another song. We do not single out guests or ask anything of you.

Each week, our musicians and vocalists lead our congregation in singing praises to God through contemporary songs, as well as traditional hymns.

Children’s Worship

During worship, our Children’s Director Meagan Durham shares a Children’s Message. She also posts a video with a lesson and fun children’s content each week. Children can watch the video on another device while parents watch the sermon, or at any time that works for your family.

Following the sermon and offering, everyone is invited to receive Holy Communion. We believe that everyone – members and guests, regardless of denomination or church background – is welcome at the Lord’s table.
