Find Your Place at Acts 2
For more information about small groups, please contact Director of Discipleship Michael Andres.
At Acts 2, we believe spiritual and personal growth works best when we practice what we call “worship plus two”—weekly worship, a place to learn, and a place to serve.
Acts 2 University
Acts 2 University is an opportunity for people of all ages to share a meal, connect with others, and grow in their faith on Wednesday nights during the school year. Our spring 2024 semester runs from January 10 through April 17. Dinner begins at 5:45pm, and classes for all ages are from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

Getting the Love You Want
January 10 – February 7
Contact: Dr. Robert Gorrell
This 6-week class is led by Teaching Pastor Dr. Robert Gorrell, and is a companion to our current sermon series, “Love and Happiness.” Relationships are some of the most important things in our lives, and we can learn to make our relationships better and more intimate. “Getting the Love You Want,” based on The New York Times bestseller, will help you: discover why you love the people you love, learn to really listen to the people you love, develop deep intimate relationships, and discover how God created us to live in relationship. This class is also offered on Sunday mornings at 10:45am.
The Gift of Presence
January 17 – March 13
Contact: Rev. Tim Travers
This is an 8-week class led by new Associate Pastor Tim Travers, who recently joined the Acts 2 staff with more than 20 years of pastoral and congregational care leadership. This is a great opportunity to get to know Pastor Tim, and is a great study for those who are caring for aging parents, dealing with health changes in a spouse or loved one, encouraging others who are going through a rough season, or for those who’ve been supported by others during such times and are looking to pay it forward.
Women's Genesis Bible Study
Begins January 17
Contact: Michael Andres
Led by Debi Smith, this class will study the Book of Genesis to explore the beginnings of our faith story and equip others to study scripture on their own with useful tools for interpretation, reflection, and application. All participants will need are a Bible, notebook, and their favorite writing utensil.

Service-Oriented Groups
Serve at Acts 2
Contact: Chantelle Foster
At Acts 2, we believe it takes everyone working together to be the body of Christ. The business of being the church cannot move forward without the support of the people in it.
Serve the Local Community
Contact: Jeff Hedrick
Acts 2 organizes several different mission projects throughout the year. These projects can range from local cleanup and painting jobs to out-of-state construction ventures. We regularly collect supplies for Infant Crisis Services, Prison Ministries, Troop Support, Hope Center of Edmond and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
Serve Internationally
Contact: Jeff Hedrick
Acts 2 is committed to spreading God’s love by serving those in need. Approximately 748 million people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water, so we have partnered with Living Water International year after year to reach large groups of people who suffer every day without this resource that we can often take for granted.
